DHCP Relay Agent

There are three core DHCP scenarios:

1. DHCP is installed and running on the SBS server - In this case, the use of the DHCP Relay Agent should not be required. Therefore, the wizard will not enable or configure the DHCP Relay Agent in RRAS.

2. DHCP is not running on the SBS server but is running on another server in the network - In this case the wizard will configure the DHCP Relay Agent in the RRAS server to add the private network adapter as an interface and enable DHCP relay. It will also configure the relay with the IP address of the DHCP server.

3. DHCP is not running on the SBS server and there is no DHCP server in the network - The wizard will prompt the user for a range of IP addresses to be used for client addressing. The DHCP Relay Agent will not be enabled in this scenario.
